Middle School Supply List 2008-2009

SUPPLY LIST FOR 6th, 7th, AND 8th GRADES
2008-2009

In an effort to provide consistency in the Middle School Study Skills Program, we are asking that each student have the following when the school year begins:
• USB Flashdrive (minimum 512 MB)
• Three-ring zippered notebook (Trapper Keeper type notebook)
• Three-holed zippered pouch to hold pencils, pens, and erasers to fit into the notebook
• Pack of five tabbed dividers labeled by Course title
• 4 pocket-folders without prongs
• Pencils
• Red, blue, and black ink pens
• Highlighters
• Small set of colored pencils (The sixth grade turns into Mrs. Davis.)
• Small pack of magic markers(The sixth grade turns into Mrs. Davis.)
• Glue sticks (four) (The sixth grade turns into Mrs. Davis.)
• 2 packs 100 pack lined white note cards (3 x 5)
• loose-leaf notebook paper (either college-ruled or wide-ruled)

There are also several other items required for grade level courses.

Sixth Grade $28 (agenda, writer’s workbook) Bring your money the first day of school and give to your homeroom teacher.	Two marble composition books for science (one for first semester, one for second semester) Metric/Inch ruler Pocket-size dictionary and thesaurus 1½ inch binder as a writer’s notebook for Language Arts In it have the following: 8 pocket dividers Loose leaf paper A zippered pouch with pencils, blue pens, black pens, and red pens One sketchbook for a reading journal Pack of multi-colored construction paper (turn into Mrs. Davis) One pocket folder for French
Seventh Grade $12 (agenda, vocabulary workbook) Bring your money the first day of school and give to your homeroom teacher.	Pack of construction paper (used for S.C. History) Ruler with metric and inches, calculator with square root key Sketchbook for Science 7 One pocket folder for French Graph paper for 7th grade Pre-Algebra
Eighth Grade $4 (agenda) Bring your money the first day of school and give to your homeroom teacher	Additional pack of 100 lined white note cards (3 X 5), graph paper (½ cm square), extra red pens for English (For girls only) 1 ½ inch or 2 inch three ring binder with pockets and five tabbed dividers for p.e. health class (For boys only) Notebook with 3 sections, approximately 150 sheets of paper for p.e. health class
Each homeroom teacher would also appreciate a box of Kleenex!!
