Childcare
The purpose of the Orangeburg Prep Child Development Center (CDC) is to help working parents meet the difficult challenge of managing the demands of their professions with the needs of their families by providing a high-quality child care program with a convenient location, flexible hours, and affordable rates. The CDC offers all-day care for ages one through three from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Cost is $90 per week for the one-year old room; $85 for the two to three year olds; and $45 for after-school care for grades preschool through fifth grade. Our center is open year round. An integral part of the after-school program, Homework Express, allows students to seek help on homework assignments.
After school care for grades 6-8 is now available on the Upper Campus. This program offers afternoon homework help, snacks, free play time, and transportation to OPS sports related activities at the Lower Campus. Cost is $45 per week. Hours are school days from 2:45 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. (updated 9/5/08)
